- Monday's Vuelta a Espana Stage 3 departs Marbella at 13:28 CET (7:28am U.S. Eastern) and is expected at the finish in Malaga between 17:28 and 17:53 CET (11:28am and 11:53am U.S. Eastern). Vuelta a Espana live video should get underway from around 16:00 CET (10am U.S. Eastern).

- According to the official site ticker (link at right), only 40 riders have signed in with 15 minutes to go before sign-in closes. They speculate that the heat may have something to do with this, no doubt with riders preferring to stay in air-conditioned buses as long as possible!
