With several events held over the weekend the main event is the 6 Hour endurance race which in 2009 had 220 riders. Lock in the date for 2010 and enjoy the 10.7km track with 235 metres of ascent per lap.

The KONA Mawson MTB Marathon is shaping up to be the ultimate Enduro challenge; an epic adventure that riders can ride non-stop or in four set stages.Over $30,000 cash and product prizes are available with a first prize of up to $8,000! With international and domestic talent signing up, this is turning out to be one hot competition... In the non-stop race, teams of two will see the flag drop on Friday June 9 at Blinman and race the 367km ahead through the dramatic scenery which is the Flinders Outback Ranges, and then through the night, to ultimately arrive in Melrose the day after.

Solo riders and teams ride in 4 set stages from Blinman to Melrose.
