It’s all about the singletrack.   It’s all about having fun with your mates.For the solo mountain biker, it is the ultimate mental and physical test. The Kona 24hr is an off road endurance mountain bike race for solo entrants, or relay teams of either 2,3,4 or 6.  If you own a mountain bike then this event is for you - riders of all ability levels will enjoy this event. Does anyone win? It's pretty simple really, it's a race in which the competitor/s with the most laps after 24 hrs of riding wins.

Rocky Trail MTB CrownThe Hill is alive!Stromlo Forest Park, Canberra (ACT)19-21 November 2010 3-Day Mountain Bike FestivalProudly supporting Pedal4Pierce Rocky Trail has just announced their Rocky Trail MTB Crown for 19-21 November 2010 at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra (ACT). The 3-Day Mountain Bike Festival invites riders and racers to the mountain bike mecca of Stromlo, featuring Round four of their Rocky Trail MTB Grand Prix on the Saturday as well as a warm-up Twilight Race on Friday evening and Pedal4Pierce charity and fun rides and races on Sunday. Participants can collect points at every race and ride over the entire weekend and help answer the question: “Who's the King of the Hill?” (they're looking for Queen, Duke, Duchess, Prince and Princess too). Program Friday:       Twilight Warm Up Race Saturday:  Rocky Trail MTB Grand Prix Round 4 with GP8 and GP4 hours racesSunday:     Pedal4Pierce Charity Ride, Guided social rides to explore Stromlo, Cross-Country sprint time trial, Dual Slalom fun runs Pedal4Pierce Charity RideThe Sunday will start with the Pedal4Pierce Charity Fun Ride around a short course that has been set out by Christopher, the 11-year old boy behind the Pedal4Pierce idea. Pierce will open the ride and then Christopher will lead hopefully a sea of mountain bike riders around the 4km trail, which he calls “Pierce’s Track”. After the Pedal4Pierce Charity Fun Ride everyone’s invite to explore Stromlo Forest Park on guided social rides, which will be offered for FREE. Fun and action for the whole family!So if you are a racer, bring the family and kids and they can explore Stromlo with us while you race around the hill, taking part in additional races and fun rides by Rocky Trail, including Dual Slalom Fun Runs and a XC Short Course Time Trial.
