About Me:
Over 15 years of mountain bike racing and
over 125 races with only 2 races not completed. My mountain bike career began in the beginner class and after 2 races I
moved up to the sport class where I remained for approximately 4 years. On my last year in the sport class I was the New England series leader in the Veteran class with my
last 2 races being wins. I moved up to
the expert class mid- season with my first race being a Mt. Snow NORBA
National. I finished mid pack.
Since then I have won 10 expert races and
was the overall series winner of the Cannondale series in Conn.
and the New England series in the Vet expert
class in the year 2000. I have 3 podium
finishes at NORBA National events. A 4th place at Mt Snow in 2000, a 3rd place in West Virginia in 2003 and a 3rd place at Mt Snow in 2004. All 3 times was
qualification for the U.S. Master’s World’s team and I competed in 3 Master
World Championships in Canada
placing in the top 20 each time. Since
then I have competed in several 24 hour races including the 24 hours of Cannan,
Numerous Vermont 50 races and another endurance test, the “666” in Pittsfield Vt.
I look forward to racing events like the
666 and Vermont
50 in the future.
