Real Name: Jerry Dunn
Gender: Male
Birthday: Jan 29, 1946
Age: 66
City: Spearfish
State: SD

About Me: My running began in 1975 and has continued on a consistent basis for
the last 31 years. My philosophy of “Don't Limit Your
Challenges—Challenge Your Limits” has enabled me to become living proof
that we can achieve much more than what we normally expect of
ourselves. We must set goals, both short and long term, and
relentlessly pursue them. My current long term goal is to represent the
79 million Baby Boomers, as a spokesperson who exemplifies the virtues
of being responsible for our own level of health and fitness.

I
possess a Bachelor's Degree in marketing from Indiana University, and
through self-motivation and self-promotion, I have successfully
organized and executed four nationally recognized running events. I
have had audiences with President Carter, Senator Lugar, numerous
Governors and Mayors, and my world record breaking marathon efforts of
1993 are detailed in the February 4th, 1994 edition of the United
States Congressional Record.

I have a Master's
Degree in counseling from Christian Theological Seminary. This
education and training provides me with the ability to relate to people
of all ages and backgrounds — from Presidents to “real” people.

I
profess to be a "Blue Collar Athlete" with a God given talent for
marathon and ultra-distance running. My reputation and appeal is best
exemplified by my endurance, organization and tenacity. One of the
advertising appeals that I possess is my grass roots image. My
background has proven that I have a creative mind and the passion and
the ability to make things happen.

Business Description: Jerry Dunn is spreading his message of setting “impossible” goals and realizing "unreachable" dreams.
After years of studying life; of running with a purpose; and of
turning dreams into reality — Jerry Dunn is ready to share his insights
about how to C.O.P.E. with life in the 21st Century. From fitness to
finances, relationships to religion, marketing to management— Jerry’s
formula is simple, and it applies to any endeavor or situation that may
be facingin your life.

C.O.P.E. = Conceptualize - Organize Personalize - Exercise

Jerry
Dunn has used this concept to create his own market niche as America’s
Marathon Man. Among his more acclaimed achievements: 1991 ~ Ran across
United States; 1993 ~ Ran 104 marathons; 1996 ~ Ran the Boston Marathon
course 26 days in a row; 2000 ~ Ran 200 marathons in one year; and most
recently ran 60 miles on his 60th Birthday. These and other
of Jerry’s incredible accomplishments in the arena of endurance
running, spanning the last 30 years, have been chronicled on CNN, ESPN,
NBC TODAY SHOW and in countless other television and newspaper articles.
Jerry
Dunn has also used this concept to remain alcohol-free for the last 23
years. He readily admits that marathon running has become his
"substitute addiction", but is convinced that it falls into the
category of a "positive addiction," and as such, has aided him in
re-directing his trek through life.
His
most recent insight has been that he wants to shift the focus of his
life from himself to others. Jerry says; “It’s time to share what I’ve
learned about this journey through life with my fellow travelers”.
America’s Marathon Man will run you through the paces of how to C.O.P.E. in today’s world.  After a session with Jerry, you’ll believe you can do whatever you choose to do.
