I grew up here in Amarillo, Texas. After high school I had dreams of being a ski bum for a few years and maybe climbing some mountains. I never did it though and have been regretting it every since. Now i'm 31 and have lived in Waco and Houston, Texas for a few years, but have been back in Amarillo for a few years finishing up my Bachelors degree in Finance. So now i'm at another cross roads. I've got my degree and a promising job offer with Arctic Glacier ice company here in Amarillo, but I'm starting to feel the wander-lust again and would like to see some big mountains and maybe some remote beaches. I've never been interested in a desk job anyway.

I want to learn to surf and become a competent sea kayaker. I also want to climb Rainer and Denali some time in the future. I'd also like to try a marathon and maybe a triathlon, but my fitness would have to become a prioty over beer first.
