: I'm originally from Ohio. I played baseball as my one organized sport growing up. I started cycling in earnest at age 32 and started running at 33. I started doing century rides at 33 and ultrarunning at 35. I started running hundreds at age 36.
: I run and ride to test my limits but also to enjoy myself. Sure, there is pain to be endured but the pain is forgotten when an event is over and the memories are of the accomplishment.
: My goals are to keep testing myself and gain fulfilment from my events. Times may not always improve but having a good, solid effort is more important to me than improving incrementally.
Workout Routines / Fitness Tips
: Enjoy what you do. If you don't enjoy it, change it up. I don't believe in spending too much time training. Do things because you enjoy them and your body will thank you for it. Always do some form of cross training.
