About Me: I was raised in a small farm community in Central Illinois (Tremont, Illinois). My family & I presently reside in Houston , Texas (Cypress,TX.) After an opportunity for my wife to advance her career we moved from Illinois to Houston this past fall, 2007.

I married my wife (Jennifer) in 1997 in Pekin, Illinois (Andy's stomping grounds). We have three amazing children:Jordan(10), Addison(7), & Bryce(6). My wife works for Caterpillar, Inc. in Houston, Texas & I presently work within the Regions Bank Alliance covering the Houston & Austin Banking Markets Consulting with Commercial Banking Clients.

My first "team" & "individual" sporting experience was on a local, town summer swim team at the age of 6. I was never very good but stayed competetive with summer swimming until the age of 16. My local high school (very small) did not have a swim team, so I did not swim competetively again until my first "post" college & marriage triathlon in 2007.

I participated in all kinds of team sports growing up. In high school, I competed on the Football, Basketball, Track & Cross Country Teams.

I completed my first triathlon as a freshman in high school in 1988 (Tri-Tremont, Sprint Distance). I did not complete another triathlon again until twenty years later in the summer of 2007.

My first marathon was in Portland, Maine in the fall of 2006. I was blessed to have traveled & ran together with my "old" swim coach & high school track coach (marathonmaniac 539).

Motivation: My God, My Wife & Children & Family & Friends, & ALL OF YOU......Especially YOU Marathonmaniac 539!
Goals: Raise three healthy children
Stay Healthy.
Take my wife to Paris.
Finish a marathon in all 50 states by 2012.
Finish an Ironman(2009).
Finish a 50 mile trail race (2008)
Finish 100 mile trail race (2009)
Crew For "Badwater" Race Participant (2010)
Bike Accross the Country (????)
Complete a "Double Ironman" (????)
Complete the "Badwater" Bike Race(????)
Finish "Badwater' (135) & raise thousands of $$$$$ for a life changing cause
